The Afternoon of a Faun EDP 100ml by État Libre d’Orange is an intense, green-chypre floral fragrance inspired by the surreal ballet poem of Vaslav Nijinsky. Released in 2012 in collaboration with Mx Justin Vivian Bond, it opens with spicy bergamot, pepper, and cinnamon, unfolds into a heart of rose, iris and jasmine, and finally dries down into a rich base of myrrh, leather, moss and benzoin. A dramatic, thoughtful scent with smoky, vegetal depth.
