This is the first fragrance by Jo Malone London, created by Jo Malone herself in 1990 as a gift to the first 20 customers of her beauty salon. It originally appeared as a bath oil, then became a full-fledged cologne. A warm, woody, spicy scent: bright, fresh ginger at the beginning, a realistic nutmeg note in the heart, and a dry woody base (sandalwood + cedar). Not a sweet spicy dessert, but clean, spicy, slightly citrusy-soapy and warm. Ideal for layering (especially with Pomegranate Noir, Earl Grey & Cucumber). A classic that is often described as “unexpected and addictive.”
